Children’s Health and ADHD
In 1998, The Rêve Pavilion’s founder, Mark Mathews also founded The Sunflower Programme, which is a comprehensive and efficient natural health programme devised for screening out and effectively dealing with learning and behavioural difficulties.
The Sunflower Programme is a system of diagnosis and treatment that uses a combination of safe natural techniques to balance many aspects of physical, biological and mental problems in measured ways that are matched individually to each child to address their underlying problems.
After an initial consultation, assessment and report, the programme uses a systematic approach to assessing and balancing the muscular skeletal system. Then neurological functions are examined relating to the five senses, information interpretation, storage and retrieval. The child and parent are actively involved in the programme and guided and inspired to cope with difficult situations. The body chemistry and nutrition from diet is examined and small changes in diet and short term supplementation may be recommended. If needed, self confidence and enjoyment from learning and communicating can be restored with techniques such as Mathews Mental Re-Conditioning Programme, a development of Neuro Linguistic Programming.
